Registrations
Many thanks to all those drivers who responded to our requests to register for the 2024 season. It has been incredibly helpful to ARCA and also to the 750 Motor Club in terms of rationalising administration time and gaining a clearer understanding of our numbers going forward. With 34 now registered and, we believe, more to come it is encouraging at this early stage. I hope you will all do as many races as you possibly can.
You should all have received instructions from the 750 Motor Club regarding the new race entry system. The feedback that I’ve had does support the perception that it is straightforward and user friendly but if anyone has experienced any difficulty don’t hesitate to contact me or the 750 MC office.
Croft circuit: Entries and Testing
When you enter to race at Croft on 20th/21st April you will receive a message as follows from Nicky at the 750 MC office:
‘Dear competitor
We are running the test day at Croft on 19th April 2024 and would like to invite you to attend.
With a limited number available booking early is advised.
There will be 4 x 30 minute sessions which costs £250.00 – please call the office to book and pay as this is not available on the new Alpha Timing system.’
I am letting you know of this in advance if you haven’t entered yet as it may help you to plan your weekend arrangements.
Sponsorship
Our Championship sponsors will be the same as last season. HITEK Electronic Materials Ltd will again be our headline sponsor, and we will also receive highly valued support from Yokohama, the Alfa Romeo Owners’ Club (AROC) and from Axis Shift (Ecommerce Business Private Investment Consultants). Sincere thanks to all these organisations.
On the subject of sponsorship, Stacey Dennis’s 2023 sponsor SYNETIQ has, as expected, returned to sponsoring the British Touring Car Championship but she has secured financial support from U-POL and Raptor Driving Surface Protection for the 2024 season.
Alfa Romeo Owners Club
As part of our sponsorship deal with the Alfa Romeo Owners’ Club we agree to encourage all our drivers who are not already members of the owners’ club to join. As a long standing member myself I have no hesitation in recommending membership of the club as enjoyable and thoroughly worthwhile. They have introduced lots of new elements in recent years to the excellent array of events that they run through the year. Please join! You’ll be glad you did!
