About the Championship

In 2019 the BRSCC Alfa Romeo Championship will be running for the 38th consecutive year. We place great value on our distinguished racing heritage but we are also a forward looking Championship, constantly moving with the times to ensure we provide close, exciting and high quality racing for drivers and spectators alike. We also thrive on variety in contrast to most one-make Championships – 10 different models of Alfa Romeo raced with us in 2018 and we are expecting at least 4 additional models to join us in 2019. We race at all the major UK circuits over 8 double header race weekends through the season, so 16 races in total. As well as Alfa Romeos we welcome Fiat, Abarth and Lancia models in 2 of our classes.

We are a friendly and supportive Championship, welcoming new and experienced drivers alike. We welcome women drivers and have had 2 women champions in recent years. We look upon ourselves as a racing community, helping and respecting other competitors and promoting clean, close exciting racing, so if you are looking to race an iconic marque in this kind of environment you need look no further! Racing an Alfa is also one of the most affordable ways to go racing, with build costs being relatively modest as are the prices of competitive models available for sale.
