A quick note from Team48 and Luther Blissett
Despite a significant crash at Silverstone, Luther was able to walk away relatively unscathed. Sadly the same can’t be said for “Drago” the green 156, which had been enjoying its best season to date.
Team48 would like to thank everyone who helped get the car loaded and into the truck on the day. And thank you for everyone’s good wishes and many offers of assistance. Help with sourcing repairs/parts etc is much appreciated.
Race of Remembrance
Luther has obviously been unable to take the Team48 car forward to this historic event. However we are hopeful that a couple of donor cars and drivers will be able to help out at this important charity weekend – the organisers are very keen that he leads an Alfa team in the competition. If anyone is still interested please get in touch with us or if they would simply like to sponsor the team or contribute towards the entry in any way, it would be fantastic support.
Football
Whilst race 1 at Silverstone was taking place, Sunderland were thumped 8-0 by Southampton. Last time that happened to them, Watford beat them 8-0 and guess who scored 4 of the goals!
We are hoping to organise an Alfa football match in the spring and will keep you posted.
